Even for those who aren’t obsessed with high tech gadgetry, keeping abreast of the latest developments in technology can be like ___some simile___. And then there are those real tech enthusiasts, maybe like you if you’re reading this, who take pleasure in discovering the newest trends and innovations in gear like smart phones, tablets and other wireless devices, or whose job makes it a necessity to keep abreast of these developments. And some of us even like to look beyond the everyday into the sort of tech where science fiction and reality begin to blend together.
There are quite a few websites (some of which I’ll mention) that dispense breaking tech news, but my favorites are the ones that feature lots of quality tech news videos. Reading an article about a new device or software application can be informative, but nothing actually demonstrates the workings of a new device like well made technology news videos demonstrating what they actually do. A good tech news video will usually feature interviews or narration that answer questions about a device’s development or intended use, while the actual video will provide the invaluable service of showing what it looks like and how it works.
As I said earlier, there are plenty of online services that feature frequently updated tech news videos, including Wired, Engadget, Cnet, and Gizmodo just to name a handful. These sites, representing some of the cream of the crop, offer tech news videos that are equal parts informative and entertaining.
